🚀 Startup Showdown 2025 - Where Student Startups Take the Stage

On June 23rd, Tulip Ventures proudly hosted the second edition of Startup Showdown, the ultimate demo day for “Project: Entrepreneurship” students at the University of Amsterdam.

Each year, over 100 innovative startup ideas are developed during the course, and Startup Showdown brings the most promising ventures to the spotlight. The event offered these young founders the opportunity to pitch their ideas live to a panel of experienced entrepreneurs and investors - competing for recognition, prizes, and a chance to take their projects to the next level.

This year’s panel of judges included:

• Reinder Nap, Finance Director at ASIF Ventures

• Edoardo Sangiorgi, Investment Analyst at Golden Egg Check

• Sam Van Iseghem, Co-founder of Cultcha Kombucha

• Antonio Cavoto, CEO of Mangia Pizza Group

The atmosphere was electric as students showcased their creativity, business acumen, and entrepreneurial spirit, turning classroom concepts into real-world ventures.
