💸 Impact Investing Panel - Where Finance Meets Purpose

On March 11th, Tulip Ventures, ASIF Ventures, and Innovis VC, proudly supported by KPMG Emerging Giants (NL), hosted the Impact Investing Panel at Roeterseiland Impact, University of Amsterdam. The event brought together students, entrepreneurs, and professionals eager to explore how investment strategies can generate both financial returns and meaningful societal change.

💡 The evening opened with welcoming drinks and networking, followed by an engaging panel discussion featuring four distinguished experts at the intersection of finance, innovation, and impact:

-Liza Rubinstein Malamud, Co-founder and Chief Strategy & Impact Officer at Carbon Equity

-Maarten Biermans, Partner at PROW Capital and Lecturer in Sustainable Finance and Impact Investing at the University of Amsterdam

-Uros Lekic, Ph.D., Managing Partner at TenNine VC and Co-founder of StoreDNA

-Arjé Cahn, Founding Partner at Shamrock Ventures and host of the Impact Innovators at the Fireside podcast

🌱 Each speaker shared their perspective on how capital can be leveraged as a force for good, addressing topics such as sustainable growth, ethical investing, and the evolving role of venture capital in shaping a better future. The discussion was followed by an interactive Q&A, giving attendees the chance to engage directly with the panelists.

The evening concluded with a networking session, where students and young professionals connected with investors, founders, and impact-driven leaders, fostering new collaborations and ideas for future ventures.

✨ A special thank-you to KPMG Emerging Giants (NL) for supporting this initiative and empowering scaleups and investors who aim to make a difference.

The Impact Investing Panel reminded us that the future of finance is not just about profit - it’s about purpose, innovation, and creating lasting change.
