💡 Fail Forward Night - Planting the Seeds of Growth
On February 5th, Tulip Ventures, in collaboration with Codam Coding College, hosted Fail Forward Night - an evening dedicated to exploring how failure can be a catalyst for innovation, resilience, and success.
The event brought together two remarkable speakers: Corinne Vigreux, co-founder and CMO of TomTom, and Matthijs Welle, CEO of Mews. Both shared their candid journeys of building, leading, and growing companies that have redefined their industries.
Corinne reflected on her experience transforming TomTom from a small European venture into a global leader in digital mapping and navigation, while Matthijs shared the story of how Mews evolved into one of the world’s most innovative hospitality technology platforms, now serving over 5,000 customers in 85 countries.
Throughout the evening, both speakers highlighted the power of perseverance, the lessons hidden within setbacks, and the importance of embracing failure as an inevitable, and essential, part of entrepreneurial growth.
Hosted at Codam College, the event offered students and aspiring founders a rare glimpse into the human side of success: the struggles, pivots, and moments of doubt that ultimately shape extraordinary careers.
🔥 Fail Forward Night reminded us that every setback holds the potential for progress — and that the path to innovation is rarely a straight line.
